It's been a long time since I last submitted any art, and it's going to be a long time before I have some real art to upload, so I decided to try my hand at another fractal art picture. Just 'cause I can. And cause it takes very little effort on my part, yet it still looks neat sometimes...
The hardest part about this particular image was getting the color scheme to work out properly. I see a dragon swooping to the bottom right of the image, with its wings outstretched and its head near the corner. I wanted the head to be easily distinguished from the rest of the dragon, without the body becoming one solid color. It took a little while, but I'm pretty satisfied with what I ended up with. Just not sure what the dragon's actual color is, cause it's kind of an equal mix of blue and peach. XD
Made in Apophysis again. Hopefully soon I'll have a real picture (meaning one that I actually drew) to post up.
Very good! I like it. I gave up on Apophysis after about 10 minutes of getting one thin little line on the sreen and nothing else. You did a fantastc job though.
Well, easy in the sense that I just push a few buttons and my computer does all the calculations. >_> In that way, it takes very little effort on my part. But there's also a lot of minute tweaking that has to be done.
Perhaps that's why they call them fractal flames.
And thanks.
